'Sno Day Like Today

I'm sure many of you out there are experiencing the effects of the massive snow storm that came through the east coast last night into today. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean much to us 9-to-5-ers, especially those of us who commute to work by subway, which had the gall to be entirely unaffected by aforementioned snow.

The boyfriend, however, is currently enjoying a real live snow day, since he's a teacher and all. If I were him, I would be bundled up in my apartment with a blanket and a stack of movies. Generous soul that he is, though, I had fabbolous company for lunch today due to his heroic trek from Queens to Union Square. We decided to raid the salad bar at Whole Foods, where I worked my way through some seriously big brussels sprouts without the aid of a knife, thankyouverymuch. I forgot my camera, so the boyf lent me his phone to snap a couple pics of my glorious heap of delishusmess.

Sorry, but I am not posting any pics of my squirrel cheeks full of brussels. Check out the handsome Odwalla model, though.

Bet you didn't know there was such a thing as Odwalla models, did you? They're known as Odwaddles. I guess that makes me an Odwaddle dater. :)
