Greetings from (mostly) sunny Northern California! I'm enjoying a lovely vacation at my parents' pad out here, indulging in glorious foodie experiences such as Chez Panisse and the Ferry Building in San Francisco. I'll tell you all about it when I get back!

As promised, I will also reveal which of my lies was actually true. There were definitely a couple people who guessed correctly, but it would appear that most of you give me too much credit where "acting appropriately" is concerned.
It was the wee hours of the night in Madrid sometime in early 2004 when I was schmoozing with my fellow exchange students (as well as some choice natives) in a small park...which shall go unnamed to protect its dignity. :) Box of wine in hand, I heard nature's call loud and clear, despite being rather inebriated at the time. One of my buddies was feeling a similar urge, so we ducked behind a convenient row of shrubbery and took turns keeping watch as we popped a squat and relieved ourselves. To my knowledge, the only one who noticed was the statue of Cervantes.
So there's the truth: I have peed in public.
Can you do me one better???

AHAHA I have too! I'd just met my (now) best friend, Abby, and we'd spent the night out doing the standard Faneuil Hall bar crawl. Unfortunately, we both left the last bar before making a pit stop so, while our friends got street meat from a cart, we copped a squat against a wall along a not-so-isolated side street. In retrospect, probably an incredibly dumb move, but we've been friends ever since! ;-)

I peed behind a dumpster at a Blink-182 concert...the portapotties were gross, so all the girls turned that area into the bathroom!! I shudder to think about how much pee was on the ground haha...tmi :)

And yes, I can do you one better...I have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and while on vacation in Cape Cod, beautiful BTW, I did #2 in public, twice. I'm pretty much OCD about being clean and all that stuff so it was pretty embarrassing but I had no choice. Luckily no one else was around but the BF. IBS is just one of those symptoms that makes my life horrendous sometimes.
