“Olive” You Should Check This Out

Sorry if my Tribest blender love-fest posts are boring you. If they are, it’s probably because you don’t own one.

If you are lucky enough to have a blender (of any capacity, really), you might be interested to know that my favorite thing to come out of the Tribest so far (besides numerous shakes, that is) is this Olive Tapenade:

018

I was flipping through the recipe booklet that came with the Tribest and realized I had all the ingredients for their Olive Tapenade, so I figured I’d go for it. Since this isn’t my recipe, I can’t post the details, but the ingredients include olives (durr), olive oil, capers, garlic and brown rice vinegar. Swoon.

017

The best part? It took olive three minutes to blend up and serve!

[You’ll have to let me know how loud you groaned at that pun because I can’t hear you through the internet.]

I spread the tapenade on some toast and ate it alongside a poor woman’s Bella Divine salad, a la Sun In Bloom. Double swoon.

015

Speaking of Sun In Bloom, check out our latest blog post! We’ve announced a very special event taking place at the restaurant this Saturday (April 10). Teaser: it includes some major eats and a movie ticket! New Yorkers, do not pass this up!

Alright, I think I’ve paid due homage to my personal blender. Onward and upward. Soon to come: a homemade meal inspired by last week’s vacation in San Francisco!
