Single-Serving Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Hi, my name’s Diana and I’m obsessed with my personal blender. It has been 24 hours since I last wrote about it.

I know there are a million versions of this floating around the blogosphere right now, but since getting my Tribest blender, I’ve been playing with my own take on chocolate avocado pudding. After a couple of mediocre attempts, I’ve finally got a concoction that I totally die for.

Chocolate Avocado Pudding (Vegan)

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup non-dairy milk
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ~2 inches frozen banana (about 1/3 of an average banana)
  • 1 dropperful of liquid stevia, or other sweetener to taste

Directions: Blend smooth!

Serves 1

Actually, the Tribest is not entirely ideal for this recipe because its blending canisters are too small to accommodate my face and its need to lick up every last trace of pudding.

Alas, necessity is the mother of invention, so I might have to come up with a rubber spatula-dessert spoon hybrid utensil sometime soon. I have my priorities!

Have you jumped on the avocado pudding bandwagon or does it freak you out?

Yay for single serving recipes! I haven't tried avocado pudding before, but I might be willing to try it now that I have a recipe that makes just enough for a taste:)

I would LOVE to try this!! It doesn't freak me out at all, but as I've mentioned, I'm currently blender-less. This is definitely on the list of things to make when I'm home for the summer, though!!

I'd be stickin' my face in there too! =)

Niceeee. Looks delicious. I haven't jumped on the band wagon yet, but mostly because I end up eating my avocados straight up or in a salad before they can make it to the blender :)

I haven't jumped on the bandwagon either...I had a bad run in with some black bean brownies, and have been afraid of messing with my desserts ever since! I will have to try it sometime though :)

I have also made avocado pudding - everyone's doing it ya know! I also have a close, but completely healthy relationship with my cuisinart. However, if anything ever came between us, I cannot account for my actions!

This looks great, like the single serving size - perfect for my small Vita-Mix container. :-)

I can't believe I have never tried this. Avocados give me an upset stomach sometimes (boo) but I think this would be worth it! It looks addiction-worthy.
